Hope Beyond the Heart - Brevard

Hope Beyond the Heart is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting individuals of all ages living with congenital heart disease (CHD) and the families who love them throughout Brevard County, Florida. Our application for federal 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status is currently in process.

Our History

Founded by a heart mom after experiencing her own daughter’s congenital heart journey, Hope Beyond the Heart was created to ensure that no individual or family in Brevard County has to face congenital heart disease alone.

We understand that CHD is a lifelong journey that impacts not only the individual diagnosed, but also parents, siblings, grandparents, caregivers, and loved ones.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide hope, practical resources, emotional support, education, and meaningful community connections from the moment of diagnosis through every stage of life.

Whether a family is navigating a prenatal diagnosis, preparing for surgery, adjusting to life after hospitalization, or supporting a teenager or adult living with CHD, we are committed to walking alongside them with compassion and understanding.

Our Vision

Although our vision is to one day expand our reach beyond Brevard County, our current focus is building a strong local community where individuals and families affected by congenital heart disease feel seen, heard, supported, and never alone. Through partnerships with hospitals, healthcare providers, businesses, and other community organizations, we strive to make a lasting difference in the lives of those living with congenital heart disease.
